This is going to be my last blog this year. Drake said they were having budgeting issues and they had too many education majors to pay so I'm cut. Oh well.....

Anyways, my car issue....transmission problem, really sucks, I have to get a new car...but I have to pay for a new car which is no fun. I wish this never happened. My neighbor said that he thinks something in the transmission broke, not that it was completely gone, but he also said that to even find out if this was the problem for sure would cost a lot of money. I don't know if that's worth it for my 98 chevy cavalier....that I loved

one of the worst days ever......guess it could be worse

SOOO today was a really really bad day.....

MY CAR BROKE DOWN ON UNIVERSITY, I was literally almost at my house and I had to get my car towed to my house and that cost me 60 bucks. THEN the tow guy looked at my car and thought it might be the transmission or an axel. Of course I was freaking out because I don't have the money to pay for that and I have to be at school tomorrow morning and I still don't know what to do......The good thing though was that our neighbor here actually works on cars and he said that he doesn't think it has to do with the transmission but something with the power steering because something with the noise isn't coming from the transmission....idk

Good news, my first day of teaching went well today, wish the day wasn't ending like this

I had my first week of school, it went really well! The kids came in on Thursday and although some of them will be tough, I think it will be a good year! I LOVE SCHOOL!!!!!

Today is Jordan's niece's 1st birthday! I can only go there for like a half hour because I have a student teaching meeting from 2-5. We get to go shopping for a present for a baby!

1st day at Harding!

So I had my first day today!!! Unfortunatley, even though I left a half hour early, it started off with me getting lost, freaking out and waking up Jordan for directions. I got there and sat in some meetings to start off with, we did a lot of ice breaker activities.

I also learned what I will be teaching. I feel like the material I'm teaching is not 8th grade level, which is sad, but I will definitley implement materials with higher levels of thinking.

Also, my leg is much much better, it hardly hurts at all! YAY!!!

I start all my teaching meetings and everything tomorrow at 8am! How exciting is that? Maybe you don't think it's that exciting but I think it's awesome! All of my roommates are moved in and we went to our favorite restaurant, Taki last night. I sucked though, on the way to the restaurant my stomach started to hurt really bad and Jordan and I had to leave early because I thought I was going to be sick. It sucks because that was the last night I had to have fun in awhile.....oh well

I attempted grocery shopping today, it hurt pretty bad. Why couldn't this boil thing have been on my arm or somewhere that didn't stop me from doing everything? Ugh, I have another doctors appointment again tomorrow at 5 to determine whether it needs to be repackaged again or not...

But the best news is is that my roomies are all moved in and we are all here together! It's going to be a great school year!

you all probably think I'm the grossest person ever for blogging about this but this thing is taking over my life!

I had my boil thing lanced today and it was disgusting! SO GROSS....never get a boil....ever

In better news....GO TEAM USA...I hoped everyone watched gymnastics last night, Nastia Lukin and Shawn Johnson taking the gold and silver over China...AWESOME. Also, does anyone else think Nastia deserved a higher score on the vault and uneven bars? I do for sure, she was amazing!

In even better news, my roommate Elyse moved in yesterday and tomorrow my roommate Kate moves in! Hopefully I will be more recovered when Kate gets here.

boil....how gross does that sound

so when I first started this blog they told me to write about what was going on in my daily life....so here goes

I have a boil......DISGUSTING!!!

It's on my left thigh, yesterday I thought it was a pimple so we tried to pop it and it only got worse. This is probably the most painful (physically) thing that's happened to me in forever! Ugh. I went to the doctor today and got antibiotics and pain killers because advil was just not cutting it. I have another appointment on Friday to see if it gets worse or better. I hate this.

In other news, two of my best friends are moving into our house this weekend and we are all going on a quadruple date on Saturday night! YAY!
